A friend at work (someone other than the UFO/Conspiracy buff) had an idea for what he thought would be a good sci-fi story, aliens suing SETI for violating their privacy. I thought it made a better cartoon.
"My two seconds of fame," as he calls it. He got the idea while thinking about the right to privacy debates in the news.
Maybe the aliens need that guy on "Boston Legal" that William Shattner plays.

Some artwork for a couple friends on the bulliten boards. As one likes to "dance" a lot, this mental image of their avatars, a centaur and her dino friend, wasn't hard to imagine.
.....
More Halloween artwork. This time the "trick and treat" is for Mark Stanley's "Freefall". So what would a lady with wolf genes wear for a costume?
"My, what big teeth she has."

And now for some Halloween artwork and a tribute to a friend. Tiffany Ross, who does Alien Dice and several other online comics, has been having some medical trouble with her daughter Kimberly. So it looks like she'll be spending Haloween at home instead of Trick-or-Treat.
So here's a little artwork for the two of them, designed more for cuteness than accuracy (and I have a little trouble drawing kids). And what would be better for Kim than something from her mother's comics? So here's Kim dressed up as a character of Syke's Cyantian comics, inspired by a fellow player of the Trek sim.
So ... much ... cuteness ... must ... wash ... away ... with ... "DOOM" ... games ...

Among a few of her fans, Mizkitti, the main character of Bill Redfern's Freighter Tails' has been the subject of a rather unusual question and debate, one that the curious can go and see on the comic's buliten board.
The debate reminded me of a similar question about a certain, more famous, comic character, one whom just recently had a movie.
So here's my little contribution to the debate about Mizkitti.

Tiffany "Syke" Ross, the artist behind Alien Dice and "The Cyantian Chronicles," recently had a baby. There were a few complications, but everything turned out well. So here's a picture where two of the characters of her older comic see the new arrival.
Congratulations Syke.

More artwork poking fun at Tiffany "Syke" Ross' favorite character from her webcomic Alien Dice , Riley. In the comic's buliten board, Syke felt with all the fangirls the hero of the strip was getting, Riley desereved some of his own.
Be careful what you wish for, Syke ...

My contribution to a " roast " for Freighter Tails comic artist Bill Redfern. Here, Mizzkiti transfers to the Freedom due to the Pharsicle unable to go any further.
She thinks she's getting away from the wackiest crew around. Little does she know ...
A picture of the online persona of the girl who sends me all those "Final Fantasy 7" fanfics: Sailor Poison.
A picture I did for Paul S. Gibbs, online friend and online author behind The Sah'aaran Embassy . The cat thinks it's found an unusual-looking human friend. The Sah'aaran lady is thinking if any Terran saw this, she'd never hear the end of the jokes.

My online friend Alqua Kalina likes the " Freighter " online comic by Paul Gibbs and Bill Redfern, quite a bit, to the point he's made a number of, amusing, posts on their bulliten board.
After his comments after a strip where the starship's clothes machine malfunctioned, I wondered how he would react if he saw the bedeviled heroine Mizzkiti in the flesh ...
This was my first pic posted using entirely ink over light pencil.

Not long ago, Paul put this post on the " Freighter " board: "Anyone have any ideas as to what Mzzkiti should end up wearing the next time the Uni-Former blows its zap? We're not exactly sure exactly when we'll end up extending the gag from the "Warrior Princess" strip, but if you submit a suggestion we find irresistable, you'll receive on-screen credit in full glorious 16-bit color. (And no, "nothing at all" isn't an option--sorry, Alqua!) "
As the pic's captions shows, Alqua always seems to find a way.
.....
Alqua Kalina has another name elsewhere on the net - "Dark Helmet."
With that in mind, and his admiting, no - his boasting, of drooling over Mizzkiti , gave the inspiration for this.
It's more fun to imagine the theme music of The Empire Strikes Back , in kazoo, when reading this.
Alqua Kalina as "Dark Helmet?" Scary news for Mizzkiti and the Moggians indeed.

A character for an RPG I'm in: Mike Powers, a young gadgeteer with a tendency to get into some occasional sort of trouble.

A picture I did in honor of Paul S. Gibbs, of The Sah'aaran Embassy and " Freighter " comic, died.
Paul's work attracted a number of fans. He will truly be missed.

Tiffany "Syke" Ross, the artist behind Alien Dice , was having a birthday coming up, and mentioned on her board that her husband was going "to get some lobster for my birthday dinner ... providing he didn't spend all his money." After making a joke about an old commercial taking barbs at a certain seafood restaraunt noted for lobsters, someone whom was doing a present for her suggested I do something of my own, related to lobsters of course.
With the artist's self-portrait, and hearing she based one character's apperance on her spouse, I drew this pic. Happy Birthday ;)

I did this for Tiffany "Syke" Ross, the artist behind the sci-fi comic Alien Dice . She had recently introduced a character of a vampire-like race that unable to eat solid food lived on fruit juices and animal blood. She answered a few readers' questions in the site forum, including what these guys as a group thought of a little "necking."
This is actually one of Syke's favorite characters in the strip, " ***I like Riley*** " Right now, it would seem he's living the life of ...
