Insert Yakkity Sax

With the response from the first guest strip for Bill Redfern's Freighter , I went ahead and did another where that left off.

Somene needs a tranquilizer, someone else needs her "squeaky rubber mousie," and that last guy needs a cold shower. At least they're getting their exercise.

We couldn't get that guy from Boston Legal

A friend at work (someone other than the UFO/Conspiracy buff) had an idea for what he thought would be a good sci-fi story, aliens suing SETI for violating their privacy. I thought it made a better cartoon.

"My two seconds of fame," as he calls it. He got the idea while thinking about the right to privacy debates in the news.

Maybe the aliens need that guy on "Boston Legal" that William Shattner plays.

Mizkitti in a mess

Here, Bill Redfern's Freighter comic had been inactive for some time. Still, the fans that kept talking about it despite the hiatuses. Bill himself had admitted to a little procrastination.

So, I wondered what I could come up with if I did a strip on what would likely happen after the last scene posted.

Poor Mizkitti, never a break.

Melvin draws the line

This was inspired from a scene from the Trek sim. Here, Lott and Tarra have a little fun with Melvin, whom while desiring female companionship isn't so sure about it when it's outside the familar.

As Melvin comes from an "alternate Earth" around the year 2000, and the girls are nonhuman, would this count as an alien abduction?

Poor Mel, he just can't get an ordinary girl. ;-)

 maple or ceadar?

The FKA's newsletter, the "Hornet," had asked for someone to do some comics for it. So I voulenteered and did one. As luck would have it, the editor's computer conked out, so here it is ahead of the newsletter.

Yes, it's corny, but still funny.

I plan to do more for the "Hornet" once it goes runing again. Who knows, I may have an actual onlime comic running based on the antics of the old Freedom sim when Treki was in charge.

two left feet

Some artwork for a couple friends on the bulliten boards. As one likes to "dance" a lot, this mental image of their avatars, a centaur and her dino friend, wasn't hard to imagine.

.....

Cling-on

More Freedom art. My friends behind the characters Halfpipe and Melvin get long-awaited pictures of their characters.

The humor here is a tad "cheeky."

Half puts the "Cling" in Klingon.

.....

little red ridding ... wolf?

More Halloween artwork. This time the "trick and treat" is for Mark Stanley's "Freefall". So what would a lady with wolf genes wear for a costume?

"My, what big teeth she has."

.....

I've got you, under my skin

Getting my scanner back in action, my first drawing was a sequel to last year's "vampire picture" for the Freedom , but Lera's fate was a bit, graphic, to post. So I did another Freedom picture based on a recent happening in the sim, and to finally give someone a picture.

Here, Lott wants to give Cosmo a hug. But the Kitsune finds her new naga body a little ... "constricting."

Remember the song "I've got you ... under my skin ..."? He's probably hoping he doesn't end up so literally.

.....

Kim at Haloween

And now for some Halloween artwork and a tribute to a friend. Tiffany Ross, who does Alien Dice and several other online comics, has been having some medical trouble with her daughter Kimberly. So it looks like she'll be spending Haloween at home instead of Trick-or-Treat.

So here's a little artwork for the two of them, designed more for cuteness than accuracy (and I have a little trouble drawing kids). And what would be better for Kim than something from her mother's comics? So here's Kim dressed up as a character of Syke's Cyantian comics, inspired by a fellow player of the Trek sim.

So ... much ... cuteness ... must ... wash ... away ... with ... "DOOM" ... games ...

Thanks

Mark Stanley did it again. Here's Freefall cameo #2 of my Freedom persona.

.....

I vant your ... bosom

(PG) Once again, more artwork for the Freedom . When I offered to Lera to do another picture of her, she wanted her character to be nude, again, with nothing covering her up but a guy's hands.

She should have known there'd be a catch ...

.....

abreast of the issue

Another Freedom picture. This one has both Lera and K'Lynxyl. The two do not exactly get along well, Lera always accusing the felinoid of trying to eat her.

So here's my take on one way she might resolve it. This is a little more riskee than most artwork (PG).

A nagging question answered

Among a few of her fans, Mizkitti, the main character of Bill Redfern's Freighter Tails' has been the subject of a rather unusual question and debate, one that the curious can go and see on the comic's buliten board.

The debate reminded me of a similar question about a certain, more famous, comic character, one whom just recently had a movie.

So here's my little contribution to the debate about Mizkitti.

Lera's vanishing act

Lately, Lera's participation in the Trek sim has been ... the subject of some comments. So here's my comment in pen.
